Age: 36
Race: Seeker of the Sun
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual/Demisexual
Place of Birth: Radz-At-Han, Thavnair
Now lives: Seems to go between Ul'dah, Ishgard, Kugane and Thavnair with relative frequency. She often pins this to work in some way.

Height: 5'7"
Weight: 157 lbs
Skin Tone: A warm shade of brown.
Build: Rather slender and slight; a small chest, though slightly pronounced hips.

Eyes: Gold
Hair: Black and softly curled. It tends to fall just past her chin, or is otherwise tamed by being slicked back some. She styles it in a 1920s 'finger wave' style.
Voice: Aliyah holds a rich accent that suggest common Eorzean is not her first language, though she has whole grasp of it; those familiar with Radz-at-Han could pin it as Hannish. She is soft spoken and not prone to offering much in the way of inflection.

Clothes Style: Aliyah's usual manner of dress is very military, uniform-like, often consisting of pants and a jacket. It is almost always black, with gold accents to offer just a hint of colour. It is also rather encompassing - the woman does not like to show skin. To that end, she is rarely seen without gloves.
Markings: A gold wave splashes over her cheek and crests over her nose. There are match lines just underneath her eyes and finished with a small circle. While she wears a sheen over them to help them shimmer, the colour is very much tattooed on her face.

Personality: There is something cold about the woman, rather distant and unfeeling. She tends to speak factually, or otherwise bluntly, and holds little regard for how others might feel towards what she says. She has a mind towards business and numbers, and prefers the company of ledgers and trade-routes than she does people. It seems an impossible task to see her smile or make her laugh; she'd much rather leave such things to her sister.

Born into a wealthy Hannish trade family, K'alya's life hangs in a balance between expectations and whim. The oldest of her father's children, the woman is the heir apparent of the Basari family - with all the requirements that come with such a role. Strict training, endless meetings, and dodging plots by those who would usurp power, the woman does so with meticulous fashion. It is the talk of husbands and the heirs of her own which fall on unwanting ears, the Seeker instead choosing to bury herself in the furthering of her family name through capitalist gain and business expansion.

Through such obsession, both Alya and her twin Erah have seen Basari expansion solidify into Ul'dah and has opened new offices in Kugane. Recent times have seen interest in Ishgard, though the climate does not agree with the otherwise cold woman.

Have you Coin: The Basari trade seems to fall into many kinds of good, but it is their weaponry and armour on which they made their name. Perhaps you're looking for one of their signature black and gold weapons, something delicate and beautiful and yet promised to kill. Their armour is much the same, with gold filigree being a trademark throughout their protective gear.

Have you Contracts: Are you a merchant yourself, perhaps looking to increase business relations, either in Thavnair or simply with another established business? K'alya is known for her penchant for contracts and binding other businesses to the Basari. So long as the alliances are mutually beneficial, surely nothing can go wrong.

Have you History: Alya is a Radz-at-Han native and the Basari name may not be entirely foreign to those of Hannish origin. Equally, the woman makes it her business to be familiar with many other families of the fair island nation, from the large players in trade, to those who seem to hide amongst the lower dredges of society. Recent times has seen that curiosity move past just Thavnair - she has become increasing aware of the more well-known names of Ul'dah and Ishgard.
